William Charles Tope, son of James Harvey Tope and Lavica Moore, was born 28 February 1910 in Anniston, Mississippi Co., Missouri, and died 31 May 1995 in Lilbourn, New Madrid Co., Missouri [note 1]. He married Carlotta Marguerite Miller, daughter of Carl Sumner Miller and Lottie Austin, on 12 October 1940 in Cairo, Alexander Co., Illinois. Marguerite, the name she preferred to be called [note 2], was born 9 March 1913 to in Mound City, Pulaski Co., Illinois, and died 9 October 1982 in Sikeston, Scott Co., Missouri [note 3]. William and Marguerite are buried in Mounds Cemetery, Lilbourn, New Madrid Co., Missouri. |
William was a
printer and Marguerite
was a music teacher, and their religious
denominational preference was Methodist.

December 1979. He was from Denville, New Jersey .

- Nicholas Charles Belli was born in Davenport, Scott Co., Iowa.
- Marguerite Elizabeth Belli was born 28 September 1985 in Mexico, Audrain Co., Missouri.
- Christopher Michael Belli was born 1 May 1988 in
Elizabeth City, Pasquotank Co., North Carolina.
