Elizabeth
Tope, daughter of George Tope and Easter Lindsey [note 1], was born 5
July 1835 in
Jackson Co., Illinois, and
died 13 December 1923 in Alden, Rice
Co., Kansas [note 2]. She married Reason Walker
on 25 December 1851 in Jackson
Co., Illinois. Reason was born 25 January 1830, Grand Tower,
Illinois and died 13 February 1921 in Kansas.
Reason served as a Private in the Civil
War in the 70th Regiment, Illinois Infantry [note 3].
Their children:
- Nancy Walker.
- Martha Walker
born 1857 in Illinois.
- Mary Easter Walker was born 30 March 1866 in Murphysboro,
Jackson Co., Illinois and died 14 August 1956 in Tonkawa, Kay Co.,
Oklahoma. She married George Teague, Edward Francis, and then
Gregg Herman Reason Martin. Herman was born 30
October 1880 and died 10
October 1898 [note 4].
- George Washington Walker
was born 2 November 1855 and died 24
Oct 1922 in
Illinois. He married Mary Elizabeth Short,
who was born September 1857 and died 19 September 1949 [note
5].
- Lucinda Walker.
- John William Walker
born 20 April 1862 in
Irving, Montgomery Co., Illinois and died 23 November 1941 in
Welser, Washington Co., Idaho.
- Delila Anna Walker
was born 26 March 1871 and died
25 October 1951 in
Illinois. She married Frank Furman, who was
born 2 December 1859 and died 10 July 1911 [note 6].
